Sitting on Toilet Bowl

曾几何时... Could have been more than a year ago, when baby S was not yet 6 months?  My biggest boy finally started sitting on the adult toilet bowl to do his 'business'.  This was what I vaguely remember... (Ha... yes, it's been a long time since I last updated my blog.)

 

One day, when J asked to go to the toilet to poop, I asked him if he'd like to use his child toilet seat on the adult's WC, not expecting him to say yes.  (Yes, I'm a little low on expectations of my oldest child, really.)

 

And the amazing thing happened.  He agreed.  So, the task-oriented me told him the rules (no dirtying the child toilet seat) and let him sat on it.  And hoila!  One more major advancement.  Checked.

 

Told daddy the wonderful news when he got home.  He asked how I did it.  I said I just asked.  ;)

As for baby S, while my mom visited us at the hospital, she updated that baby S asked to poop when she had the urge!  Always a major milestone that little toddlers can verbalise their needs.  One good advancement for her too.  Thank God...
