Grumpy Baby Meant for the Igloo

Junior looking grumpy because of the heat. It was late afternoon around 5.30pm and we were strolling in Lower Peirce Reservoir Park. We love to take baby to such nature walks. The Botanical Gardens is another favourite haunt. I'll always tell Junior, "Bay, this is where you popped out from mummy's tummy" when we passed by Gleneagles.

Nope. Bay isn't his name. It's my shortform for baby.

Good Ole Bamboo (Not Bumbo)

My bro sat in this; my sis sat in this; I sat in this; my niece sat in this 2 years ago; now my baby is sitting in this for meals at his grandparents' home. Nice bamboo...

(Note: I'm still updating what has happened as late as 2 months back. No time no time... 17 May 10. Ho ho...)

Raining Cereal

It's a total huge mess. Tried out the Ikea bibs - gifts from my sil - and Junior messed up his bumbo and hands and feet big time.

Baby & Bumbo

Got baby a new toy -- bumbo seat! He loves it! See how stylo he looks sitting in it. Huh huh huh...

Load Carrier

It's useful. Relatively easy to get bb on. Does tire out my shoulders occasionally. Overall, it's a good helper. Ta da!!! Introducing the sling carrier!

Junior's First Haircut

He was so obedient and didn't fuss when we took him to Hua Xia to have his head shaved and to get his hair made into a brush (mao bi). It's really just a momento but considering it's not just any momento, Berry and I had decided to take him to HX.

2nd Vaccination

Took junior to the Bishan pediatrician to get his 2nd dose of 6-in-1, pneumoccocal and rotavirus vaccination. Doc also did a check on bb's development. Everything looks fine. Bb was so engrossed with the mobile hanging from the ceiling when doc swung it left and right to check his gross motor skill. So cute. Hiak hiak.

We were told that junior can start to take solids 2 weeks later as his neck is pretty strong by now. woo hoo... the adventure begins.
