The Prayer to Father Lord

I just came back from a short, final conference in KL.  Missed my big bundle of joy to bits.  What welcomed me was something thrilling and unexpected.  I was totally awed by J. In his own words:

J: Father Lord, please help me poop poop. Jesus' name, Amen.

Good Progress in English

Me: Where's your milk bottle?
J: I put it in the sink.

Auntie Huiling commented: Suddenly your little man realised the power of speech.
And it dawned on his old man and mom how much he has grown.  A revelation indeed.  (A later realisation is that he learns mainly through the auditory channel.)

J had shake this morning but I totally had no idea how a white goatie came along.  He was happy to keep it a secret.

Be Our Valentine!

We, the parents, have been tasked to make a V-day card to our little one to be pinned up on the board in school.  Thank God for the creative streak He has put in me.  This little card in less than half an hour.
